ABOUT
I'm Heather, a graphic designer who became passionate about design and the printing industry at an early age. I had the opportunity, before entering college, to learn and work with typography, photography, and layout in the printing industry when some businesses were still preparing layouts with acetate overlays, x-acto knives, and stat cameras!
With technology changing, the hand quality that design once had was evolving to computers. I embraced the technology while still seeking to keep my craftsman skill of using an x-acto like a pen! During my undergrad years, I pursued sculpture as a minor for all of my studio time. The experience in sculpture prepared me on how to keep my love of working with my hands and merging my passion for graphic design with presentations, mock-ups, and trade show layout design.
My love of design and sculpture took me onto a path of marketing and then into publishing. Over 20 years of marketing experience in design and production, project management, website design and trade shows. I have worked in publishing, educational, funeral, and electronics industries.
Creative and technical execution of print, digital, and marketing campaigns from concept to final completion of projects. Adept in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
When I'm not being creative with work, I spend my time camping, mentoring for the Scouts of America as a Unit Commissioner, volunteering at the Food 'n Friends of Attleboro, painting, remodeling my home, and exploring all the wonders of life with my two sons.
